Like I said from the beginning, Braun will be playing opening day; however, there will always be detractors because of how he won his appeal. You can call this a technicality all you want, but I still believe 100% that he is innocent. Just because his defense team chose that route to pursue does not mean that the test was valid, yet out of standard protocol.
Had Braun's team attacked this from the angle of tampering or medical issue, he would have been found guilty. Twelve others have tried and failed. This was the only logical defense and it worked.
I still cannot believe that MLB is still sticking to their guns and basically throwing him under the bus. If the information out there is correct, the tester took the sample home for TWO DAYS and left it in his fridge. Are you kidding?? That test should have been immediately thrown out and a new sample collected. It never should have even reached the lab. I'm not gonna sit here and say that the test was tampered with.... wait, yes I am. This asshole treated Braun's sample like a condiment. You're going to take a urine sample from an elite player, with the chance of destroying his whole career and throw it in the fridge? I wonder if he put it in the door next to the ketchup?
Not to mention how this was leaked! The fact that he won his appeal means that we never should have heard about any of this.... EVER. This whole thing is bullshit and if anything, MLB owes Braun, the Brewers and Milwaukee fans an apology for how this whole thing was handled.
I swear to Christ, if I hear one Brewer fan booing Braun, beatings.

i think someone put some lime lite in his urine sample before fed ex-ing it out.
I think La Russa pissed in his sample and tainted it with Shingles.
